I was born in Queens, NY, and studied filmmaking as a Dean’s List student. I graduated, cum laude, in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of the Arts degree.
In 2010, I Produced and Hosted Dope Files with the intention to spotlight underground Black talent in Fashion and Music. This lead to lucrative interviews with coveted celebrities. Though exciting, I wanted to produce work with intention.
In 2014, I began a Youtube vlog to address Black social issues, which expand into an awarded comedy web series, "Sit Black and Relax." With work expanding over 10 years in Hosting, Screenwriting, and Producing, I have had the pleasure of being featured on BET, Entertainment Tonight Canada, Dark & Lovely, Teen Vogue & more.
I continue to tell Black stories in my work, specifically chronicling Black women in comedy and drama formats. My drama "Mental" won a Semifinalist position in the 2021 Screencraft Drama competition, a semifinalist win in the 2022 ISA Table Read My Screenplay competition, and a 2nd round select in the 2022 Black Boy Writes mentorship. I am more than thrilled to continue my endeavors.
