About Zenon
"Hello there, I'm Zenon Samuels, the director, writer, and producer at ZenCo. Productions!"
Zenon Samuels is a Burmese-Australian director, writer, and producer best known for the short films "Monolith", "Robot", and "Survive"; the mumblecore, feature film "Thrasher"; and the award-winning web series "Forests and Thieves". Hailing from the coastal town of Perth, Australia, Zenon currently lives in Los Angeles where he spends his time shooting films, writing stories, and playing music. In addition to his film career, he has successfully published the punk rock novel "Feedback"; and is also one half of comedy rock duo "Zenon & Isaac".
He is hardworking, ambitious, and goal-oriented filmmaker who enjoys taking on challenging and outside of the box ideas. As a Burmese-Australian, he hopes to share a unique point of view that opens up conversations from, and for, people who may not always have a voice. To him, allowing the unheard to be heard, and creating an inspiring, emotional, and thought-provoking dialogue is the greatest reward of any art form.
