Lauren Hawkeye

Author Lauren Hawkeye published her first story in 2007 and has since written over forty short stories, novellas, and novels. Lauren has published with Harlequin Enterprises (Spice, Nocturne, Dare), Penguin Random House (as Lauren Jameson), Avon Harper Collins, Hachette/ James Patterson Bookshots (she co-authored a novella with bestselling author James Patterson) and Entangled Publishing. She is eagerly anticipating the release of her first non-romance, a thriller written with NYT bestselling author Katee Robert, from Serial Box later this year. Lauren is a featured author with popular app Hooked Chat Fiction (Telepathic Inc.), in which all stories are chat/ dialogue in format-- she has a free read shown to millions of readers on Snapchat every week or two, which has helped to grow her audience. Though new to screenwriting (as opposed to narrative fiction), bestselling author and screenwriter Tawny Stokes, Lauren's long-time mentor, has referred to her as "an idea machine", with a unique ability to create high-concept stories with mass appeal-- a writer who is constantly exploring new ways to tell a story.

Though Lauren built her career by writing romance and erotic romance, in the last year her interests have led her into psychological thrillers, dramedy podcasts, and high-concept serials designed for television. She loves creating stories with strong female characters, stories with diversity, and stories that are fresh and relevant, often with a dark side.
