About Patrice

I like to tell people, 'I've done many things in life, but there is only one thing I ever really wanted to do, and that's be a writer.' It started when I was in the 3rd grade and my teacher pasted a picture on the board in front of the class and told us to come up with a story. From then on, I was hooked. However, life and circumstances would take me down many different roads, and away from my one true love. For the past 25 years, I've worked as a teacher and curriculum developer. Along the way, I did managed to publish a book of poetry and a book on breast cancer and nutrition. However, those stories of adventure and mystery never left me, and the characters longing to be set free kept whispering in my ear. Now, I spend most of my days just letting them run wild. I have completed my first script, and I'm working on two others. I hold a BS in English Literature and a MS in Education. Writing is my purpose, my passion, my superpower. And, like all superheros, I'm still working through the process.
