About Claudio

Claudio has 30 years of experience as a producer, director, editor and professor in the areas of film, television, theater and the web. He obtained a Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Media Design and Technologies from Full Sail University in 2010, a Professional Certificate in Film Directing from Watkins College of Art and Design in 2001 and a Bachelor's Degree in Theater from Florida State University in 1997. Additionally, he has a certification in AdelaideX Music Technology Foundations (2016) and in BerkleeX Vocal Recording Technologies (2014).

In the United States he worked for companies such as Turnbull Center at Florida State University, Sound City Productions, Internet Broadcasting Network, Inc. and WDA video productions.

In Costa Rica he has worked in institutions and companies such as the National Theater Company, the Costa Rican Center for Cinematographic Production, NLC Editores de Costa Rica, the University of Sciences and Art, the Horizon 2000 Educational Center, and Producciones Legendarias SA, in which he was president and founder.

Among his film and television credits are "The Last Castle" by Dreamworks (Extra), "Beyond The Wall of Sleep", by Visceral Pictures - Lionsgate (Boom Operator, Sound), "Orotina TV" by Legendary Productions ( Director, Producer), "Entre Cortes" of the CB24 Channel (Producer, Editor), "Entertainment Now!" Of Legendary Productions (Producer, Editor) and the short film "Samuel" of Legendary Productions (Director, Producer).

In the area of digital content production, he was the creator ann producer of the YouTube and Vimeo channel "Orotina TV" (2009) and the producer and editor of "La Hora del Gallo" (2017) and "La Esquina del Escritor" (2017) of the YouTube channel of Legendary Productions.

He is currently the Director of the Film and Animation Academy of the Latin American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT), Costa Rica, and he is working as a producer of the transmedia project "Uvieta, El Musical".
