Just as Petra, a butcher shop saleswoman at risk of burnout, checks into a clinic on the North Sea, it turns out that she has been paid less than her unskilled colleague at her supermarket for years. At the clinic, the conflict-shy 52-year-old is suddenly forced to confront her deep-seated fear of rejection in the spiritual therapy group 'Power of 8' until, with the help of her fellow patients, she learns to follow her inner compass. She discovers her power and creativity and challenges her boss in the fight for fair pay for herself and her female coworkers.
