About Hunter

Hunter Davis is an award winning filmmaker with a variety of contest wins, scripts under option, and projects in development. His high scoring horror/thriller, APART was the 2023 ISA Fast Track Fellowship Suspense Winner and the Winner of the 51st Annual Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Awards. Hunter's award winning spec, BLACK DUST, won Best Action Screenplay at the 2020 Creative Writing Awards and is one of three different projects from Hunter featured on The Red List. His sci-fi/action feature, The Drome, has been under option with studio producer, Lucas Foster (Ford vs. Ferrari, Law Abiding Citizen, Bad Boys) and is currently being shopped. Most recently, Hunter's terrifying microbudget thriller, Symphony of Silence, is currently in pre-production and slated to begin filming in October 2024. Influenced by the groundbreaking genre films of the 80's & 90's, Hunter specializes in commercially viable projects on a budget with contained settings, elevated suspense, and wildly unpredictable twists.
