About Bob
Bob Goodman is an actor, teacher, director and filmmaker with over 35 years of experience in all disciplines (and media) and is privileged to be able to share his knowledge and entertaining teaching style to the classroom, stage and set.
Bob has worked with John Alvidson, Hy Averback, Randal Kleiser, Michael Mann, Paul Newman and other industry leaders.
Bob is a member of SAG-AFTRA (since 1978) with credits that include film and television, regional theatre, industrials (spokesperson/hosting) and a long list of commercials.
As the Artistic Director of The Actors Ensemble, Co-founder and director of The Student-Artist, adjunct lecturer at Lafayette College and SUNY at Westchester CC, Bob continues to share his passion and expertise with student-artists.
The Actors Ensemble is also excited about its On-Camera Workshops!
Most recent workshops were held in London at The Actors Centre, The New School For Drama in New York and Southern Connecitcut State University.

We often see theatre students struggle with the transition to screen acting and by providing an immersive, hands-on, comprehensive experience, students are exposed to the rigor, nuance, vernacular and discipline needed for actual challenges in bona fide jobs in the real world!

TECH to TECHNIQUE: The Actors Ensemble and Kipperman Casting, Inc. are working together to provide the most detailed, personalized and professional on-camera training in the city.
Held at a premiere New York casting director’s studio, you will receive personalized evaluations, face time with a casting director, detailed text work from the table to the set, an opportunity to work and create on both sides of the camera, an on-location experience and an edited final scene!
