About Nicholas

Nicholas Gray was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He grew up making movies and short films about ghosts and monsters with his friends from school. Through high school and for a short while thereafter he turned to graphic design pursuing a degree in graphic arts and advertising. When he turned 29 he rediscovered his passion for being behind the camera and decided to pursue cinematography as more than just a hobby.

He has worked on several award winning films such as Broken and Beautiful (Best feature in Glory Reels Film Festival) and The Created. He has also worked on commercial work for various clients.
