Monique is an aspiring screenwriter/EP and is currently working on her first TV-series' pilot.
She is the founder and managing director of Forty-Five Acres Communications, LLC a boutique strategic advisory and production firm that helps organizations, political candidates, and high net-worth individuals navigate complex policy and reputational challenges. Additionally, Forty-Five Acres creates and produces bold, authentic creative content that tells stories around intersectionality based on human connection.
Before founding Forty-Five Acres, Monique was a spokesperson for a large social media platform on a complex policy and litigation. Prior to joining an in-house communications team, she spent more than a decade in the agency setting as a vice president leading winning public affairs campaigns on some of the most pressing public policy issues for Fortune 500 companies.
Monique's superpower: she orchestrates building compelling narratives that move the needle around complex public policy.
She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed some graduate work at Vanderbilt University Divinity School.
Monique briefly lived in London until COVID, and although she claims residency in San Francisco Bay Area, Washington, D.C., will always be home.
