About Reinaldo

Born in Lisbon the director studied Philosophy in Lisbon and later at Paris IV having completed his studies in 2007 with a degree from the Universidade de Lisboa. He then moved to Mumbai, India where he stayed before moving to Berlin, Germany where he is currently residing. He works as a freelance flmmaker in various departments and studied at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Along with a Producer he formed the Almeida/Kind GbR Production for his international short-form comedy series Das Apartment. He is currently developing various projects, amongst them is A Border Within for which he received a research grant by the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Literarisches Colloquium Berlin and pitched it at the Nebulae programme of the Doc Lisboa festival 2019.
