Kelly Ann Guglietti is a retired educator who has worked with elementary school children in brick-n-mortar schools for thirteen years and online for four years. Through her experiences and journeys with her students, she has taken her passion to pen. As a proactive means to any organization's anti-bullying program, she would like her picture books and screenplays to inspire children to accept themselves and others for who they are. Kelly Ann believes that if everyone knew how to esteem themselves and empathize with others, we could experience a culture of non-bullying. See her animated family dramedy features, "The Orange Chihuahua" and "The Yellow Sea Lioness."
On a totally silly note, Kelly Ann has written the short, "The Brown Turkeys: An MS Turkey Broadcasting Corporation Account of Thanksgiving." It is an animated spoof on an MSNBC news broadcast on Thanksgiving in the eyes of the turkey. Chestnut Holt, Tanne Thompson, Miguel Mahogany and an intern, Umber Feathers report the new of the impending holiday. Dr. Bronze Torres explains how the turkeys can avoid the dinner table. It has won the Best Short Screenplay for the Fall of 2023 at the Grande Stories Screenplay Competition and was officially accepted into the WRPN.tv Screenplay Competition, 2024.
Kelly is spreading her wings, soaring towards different genres, writing a rom com and later, a legal/lpolitical drama.
