Published author of 17 novels, mostly LGBTQ+. I want to explore alternate lifestyles from stories from the past to understand the world today.

My quest to write scripts began long before the Internet made it possible to write anywhere. It required moving to Hollywood. So I bought a bus ticket and hit LA. There I learned to write screenplays while exploring LA's underbelly where the real stories lie.

Most of my characters are marginalized. A gay cop in 1933 LA who must choose between love and normalcy, a post-Civil War transgender girl learns to accept herself. An LAPD cop tries to right the wrongs of a broken justice system by becoming a vigilante.
