Matt Alexander Clark's Reel

A short dramatic film I produced centring around a young girl caught in the middle of her parents separation, impossibly forced to choose which of them she would like to live with, portrayed in an imaginative way by the Writer and Director, Meng Yuan.

A short film from Meng Yuan, a Directing for Digital Film and Television MA student at Bournemouth University, and produced by Matt Clark, on the Producing for Film and Television course at the same institution. Based on Phil Town's Black & Blue and Red, the film centres on a wife who is finally pushed too far by her violent husband.

Series Premise/Logline - 'A fading and old-fashioned British seaside theme park, Fun Land, is given 5 weeks to improve business and pay back the money owed to the various parties (bank, loan sharks etc) or be shut down for good, whilst encountering all sorts of hurdles, seemingly preventing the park from reaching its goal.' Unfortunately half of this short had to be cut and thus it's impact and story are not realised, but I still greatly believe in the concept as a whole!
