What are you working on? What's up next for you? Sometimes advice is better with a specified goal.

I’m an actor with production experience as well and I just moved back to Los Angeles. I’m was working and acting on TV overseas in Singapore for ten years and managed to take back some awesome showreel material. It was quite the journey but now I’m back and ready to hit the pavement in LA so send me a network/friend request and let’s connect!
All the best!
Chris :)
Hi Chris, Nice to connect with you. I also just returned to Los Angeles. I was living on Kauai, for 12 years. But decided to get serious and take control of my career future and the next chapter of my life. lol

So I try to make sure I’m always grounded and as authentically real as I can be. I remember being on a set where the Director kept saying to the actors, “you’re acting! Stop acting!”

I like to.really focus on ‘the moment before and pretend l am talking to a friend, enemy or family member so I try NOT to Act. As much as possible. I definitely learn to lines then experiment with different emotions. Until I become the character..
Ironically, you stand out by being yourself. None of us were made the same, so if we allow our true, authentic selves to shine through, then that makes a signature performance. That, and YEARS of training, of course ;)
