I’m a filmmaker born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela.
For me it all begins with story and structure, that’s the big foundation of my work as a Producer and Director. Whether I’m crafting a digital video content campaign for a client, developing an original series for YouTube or directing short documentary profiles, it is always the story which becomes my priority.
For the past 6 years, I’ve been focusing mostly on the digital space working for a variety of platforms such as YouTube, and most social media platforms.
Currently, I’m the Supervising Producer of Complex News, the prime source for youth culture based news and entertainment. Complex leads the digital content space with 4.4MM subscribers on Complex Originals and 2.4 MM subscribers on Complex News, not including our 5.6MM followers on Instagram and 2MM followers on Twitter. Developing, producing, directing for Complex has given my work an immense platform and reach. It has also allowed me to work with some of the most prestigious clients such as McDonalds, Lexus, Old Spice, Puma, and EA.
I’m also a screenwriter with an affinity for character studies, adaptation of short literary works and comedies of error. Anything with a heart, that’s my jam.
I’m about to start the journey of my third short film, and my first narrative work as a director since 2013. My first short film, Bereavement (2012) premiered in the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival and is currently distributed by the International streaming service IndieFlix. My second short, La Solitaria (2013) premiered at the Katra Film Series in New York City, screened at the HBO and BET founded Urbanworld Film Festival and won the Jury Prize at the 2014 Indie Works Film Series. It’s currently distributed by the streaming platform Project Catalysts, which supports black and latinos films across the world.
Unique traits: Multilingual writer, director and producer. Well versed in both indie film production and digital content creation. Quarterfinalist in the 2023 ScreenCraft Film Fund.
