About Mason

I seem to have a knack for surviving near death experiences, including the baptist Bible Belt. A gay Hare Krishna Devotee from the south, my goal has always been to focus on complex LGBTQ+ characters that explore the depths of reconciliation and chosen family. Whether that's set in space or a small town, the goal is to leave you dabbing your tears and clutching your pearls simultaneously. I earned my BA in Film at George Mason University and moved to NYC where I was able to gain experience on sets; both as talent and production assistant. After completing work on “The Hammer” in New Orleans, I permanently moved to CA to further pursue screenwriting. My most recent pilot, “Ms.Guided,” advanced to the semi finals in both the WeScreenplay Diverse Voices and Screencraft TV Pilot competitions for 2020.
