Kerry Schwartz, a born and bred Italian Jew from Brooklyn, New York. She studied Broadcast Journalism at Kingsborough Community College. With an extensive background in television, casting and production, the go-getter has worked on popular TV shows such as America’s Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, Let’s Make a Deal and American Idol; to name a few. Having honed her skills both in front of, and behind the camera, it comes as no surprise that cover music video, “With or Without You”, won Best Music Video at the Global India International Film Festival under Kerry’s direction and production. Her most recent accomplishment comes as Director of the pilot for the newly released Amazon Prime series, Unsubscribe. Resilient and relentless, Kerry thrives in the face of challenge. This is evident in her most notable claim to fame as the winner of VH1’s reality TV show, The Entertainer, where her fun-loving personality won the hearts of viewers across the nation (as well as Frank’s, of course).
Kerry has a clear talent and passion for writing and developing scripted TV and docuseries, but the hard worker still finds time for play. When she’s not producing and directing, Kerry also served as Brand Ambassador and Content Creator for the Women Like Us Foundation. Now residing in Los Angeles, California, when she isn’t advocating for mental health and women’s empowerment, she enjoys taking herself on dinner dates, kick-boxing, exploring nature, and creating memories with family and friends.
In everything she does, Kerry’s goal will forever be to use her creativity to leave a positive impact on the world and touch the lives of others. Her debut memoir, Series of Unfortunate Men, is no exception. Complete at 359 pages, she shares the personal trials, traumas, and tribulations of her lifelong dating saga. With a humorously comedic flare, the author walks her readers through her life. Kerry aims to shed light on the dangers of unhealthyrelationships and the biggest lesson of all, self-love.
