About Vicki

Winner of the “2013 Battle of the Comics” where she beat 100 comedians for the title and hailed as one of the nations funniest comics by Curve magazine, Vicki Wagner has torn up stages across the USA and Canada and even the seven seas.
Born in Chicago, IL She loves to entertain and does Stand Up Comedy, Improv, Sketch Comedy and Acting. After getting kicked out of the Air Force for being gay she decided that this was a big joke, so she turned the incident upside down, started her comedy career and began taking jabs at the silly, outdated policies of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.
Now Vicki jokes about growing up with parents who were bikers and then getting sent to a Catholic school, current events, being overweight in a skinny world, hot topics, current events and more.

Vicki has Emceed several Pride events across the nation, Headlined as far away as Provincetown, MA and Vancouver, BC and has hosted prestigious events across the country. She also headlined Winterfest: Lake Tahoe Gay Ski Week, hosted The Glitter Awards: The Gay International Film Awards and has emceed numerous charity benefits.

She was the Headlining comic at a private benefit that raised $25,000 in one day for SLDN, she brought them to their feet in Denver for “Bear To Make a Difference”- Matthew Shepherd Foundation, Laugh Out Loud, Pride in Spirit, Laugh to Make a Difference and many more.

Vicki has been on ABC, NBC, TLC, Bravo and QTV and has been featured on the front page of the West Hollywood Independent, The Santa Barbara News Press, The Westsider, Curve Magazine, Provincetown Magazine, IN Newsweekly out of Boston, The Mayday Press in Denmark, The Women’s Community Connection, the LN, and in She Magazine. She has been on several radio shows; TV talk shows and has written a column for the Advocate.

Her outgoing personality and natural sense of humor and quick wit enabled her to be the host of the webshow, “Lesbian Knows Best,” a talk show in which she gives advice to straight people which has been viewed over 1.7 million times! After 60 episodes of the show she wrote a book, “Get a Date Today! How to Market Yourself for Love.” The book is an online dating step-by-step manual on how to find the love of your life.

Vicki also hosted over 50 episodes of “The Vicki Wagner Show,” a local cable TV variety show in which she interviewed actors, actresses, musicians, comedians and more and integrated some Improv with other Sketch Artists and a hot topic into her interviews. Currently, she is the host of her latest award winning talk show, "Brash Babble with Vicki Wagner" which won the Users Choice Award for “Favorite Local Live Series” on Time Warner channel 36 in West Hollywood. The funniest comedians in Los Angeles take center stage in front of three cameras for a show that is entertaining, unpredictable and hilarious.
“Brash Babble with Vicki Wagner” airs live on Thursday nights at 8:30 PM.
