Hey There, I'm a hired gun writer who also has some personal passion film projects in the works. One of them is a sci-fi tale of suspense (I agree, sci fi rules). Last year it won a slot in the inaugural Writers Lab for Women, funded by Meryl Streep. I penned and produced a short version of a feature that's a dark-edged romantic comedy, which is screening at the Pasadena Intl. Film Festival on March 6th. So if any of you L.A. folks are around the festival, I do hope you'll drop by and say hi. The short is called THE BEAUTY OF DISASTER (as is the feature).

I just married off my last daughter (still paying for the other daughter's wedding from years ago, lol). She surprised me by giving to the string quartet that played as she walked down the isle one of my compositions. I was about half way down the isle before I realized it was my music.
