March- A True Story

March is a film very dear to my heart- it's my tribute to my Grandpa, who passed away a little more than two years ago. This is one of those projects that you think, "If I only ever make THIS, and can do it WELL....that will be enough." Know what I mean? All the details, everything you could ever wa...

Pro-Bono Work

As a new actor or actress or a seasoned one looking for more experience how do you feel about pro-bono offers?

Lina Jones

Robin, I agree sometimes there is no money only a hope and a dream. If it is a good product the money will come and hopefully it will be shared with us little people. :D

Resources for starting a web series?

I was wondering if anyone had some good resources for starting a webseries. I don't have any experience when it comes to actually creating a webseries but am interested in learning more. Looking for a beginners guide of sorts.

Erin Reinhard

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Robin Chappell

Look towards Community Access in your area first. Find a Certified Producer willing to do a weekend shoot with equipment from the Access Channel to start. Unless you have a spare hundred thousand lying around unused.

Sandy Brownlee

Hi Erin! I have one more suggestion for you. Check out "Forget The Rules." This was a webisode series created in Australia featuring an ensemble cast and it was an unbelievable success its first year...

I recommend Byte Sized Television by Ross Brown. You can find it on amazon or most book stores. It really helped us break the process down. Good luck!
