About Jeffrey

My first short film was in 2015. It started when a friend of my brothers approached me about helping him write scrips for film school. I had just dropped out of Engineering school to write novels and this seemed like it could be a fun side track from the grind of my first book. 6 weeks later after a bunch of writing sessions we were on a set that I built watching actors say the lines that I wrote and I am sitting at the monitor with tears coming down my face because I am so happy. I never looked back. There have been ups and downs, and I am now in the film industry in Chicago, a member of Local 476 with dreams of being a television show runner. I have done many jobs above and below the line. My ideal would be to become someone like John Wells, whom I worked for on "Shameless" as a B Camera Dolly Grip - Chicago Unit. I multiple projects all the time that are in various stages of development. I write, produce and direct as much as possible. I love Sci Fi and Fantasy, but anything with a compelling story usually draws my interest. My slogan: "The plan doesn't change." In film we are thrown all sorts of bizarre things, personally as well as professionally, I try to not sweat the small stuff and keep my eyes on the goals that really matter.

I move fast for a big guy, I did kickboxing and was in a military academy as a young man. Familiarity with basic weapons and US military tactics. I got the good fortune to have training as a teenager from members of JSOC, 167 SOC South Panama City Panama, 1st Batt. Force Recon, USMC [Escape and Evasion School, Anti-Sniper School]. We got to play war games with a Reserve Green Beret unit that was apart of JSOC.

I was strong and fast in college so I worked out with the football team at my Community College (Cornerback) third string, got cut after the first season. Coach didn't think 27 hard science units and football was a good idea.

I still have that strength under what I now call "my winter coat" and don't look like I weigh 260.

I was almost a Pastor, I am now a religion unto myself but I have compassion for people who are religious not resentment.

I am an extreme technophile and a futurist who believes the golden age of humanity is closer than we think in our future.

Unique traits: Some BJJ training (White Belt), love the culture. No GI 10th Planet I study Quantum Mechanics in my spare time and have several concepts that I think can be applied to the process of creating the "grand unified theory". Legal strategy consultant - Family Law Have been homeless 3 times Won my first public speaking award at 14 General Mechanical awareness. I can pack almost any vehicle to maximum efficiency. I tested in the 97% in spatial awareness Nationally in 5th grade. Am bald, but I have a great beard.
