Kristen Scatton

Kristen M. Scatton is an LA-based writer and performer who avoids calling herself a storyteller because it sounds pretentious. Her background as a playwright, journalist, comedian, and gourmet food store sales associate means that she not only brings experience and expertise to a writer’s room, she can also recommend a great wine and cheese pairing. She holds an MFA in Playwriting from Temple University, and was the playwright-in-residence for Philadelphia-based theater company ReVamp Collective from 2016-2018. Scatton’s latest adventure is transitioning from stage to screen. In addition to writing multiple pilots, Scatton is a writer and performer with sketch comedy group Fever and the digital news satire publication The Daily Misinformer.
