Michael wrote his first feature length screenplay at age 18 acquiring his first agent by age 19. He completed numerous scripts for various production companies before founding the independent production company, Barleau Street Films. He wrote and directed a music video before producing & directing his first feature, “Peripheral Vision.”
He received an Achievement Award from the Long Island Film Festival for the short film, “The Long Way Home" and a Focus Award nomination for the screenplay of “Peripheral Vision.” "PV" also won the Audience Choice Award at the 25th edition of the Long Island Film Festival.
Unique traits: A writer-producer-director specializing in stretching budgets to give his films greater production values.
