The Box Soundtrack.mp4
I composed the soundtrack for a film school student. I have no knowledge about the film producer, director, cinematographer or anyone related to the film.
The music begins at the hit of the elevator button. The calm and serene octaves on the piano turn to a dissonant minor 9th with the inclusion of Strings as the unknown figure appears. The music is developed as the person proceeds to his apartment. Beautiful four-voices of Woodwinds (2 Flutes and 2 Clarinets) join in to portray the naive character of the lead person. The music develops to a full-size orchestral score as the person takes the box into his apartment. While the person unfolds the truth inside the box, it appears to be his past memories. The box is a symbol of person's past memories. If one dwells too much into it, they might get consumed by the negativity.
