What are your thoughts on responsibility here?

I am very torn on this topic. I would love to know some of your opinions on it. When does the actor's responsibility begin and end?

I think any lawyer worth a damn is going to be able to get the jury to understand that, at the time of the incident, he was acting in his capacity as an actor, not a producer. But we will see.

Suzanne Bronson

Update: Case was dismissed yesterday and cannot be refiled. Also, the armourer may be freed.

Paul Askedall

This goes to show armorers in showbiz need training and they need to constantly ensure weapons on set are unloaded. Or at the very least, they should make sure they're unloaded prior to filming.

Tom Lapke

For anyone who has not worked in the legal field before, I can not tell you what a deus ex machine, third act surprise, Perry Mason moment this was for the judge to dismiss with prejudice. That kind of stuff only happens in movies and TV. Just incredible.

This is nice to see.

I think a lot of Hollywood nepo-babies should take a play out of this book. Acknowledgment is the great neutralizer.

“Create Your Own Content!”

It’s something you hear a lot these days—from other actors, coaches, friends, your mother, possibly—to take some control of your career into your own hands. But is it truly worth your time and creative energy as an actor to merge into producing, as well? Per a number of industry experts, yes, it is;...

Outstanding post and advice, Tammy Hunt. Everyone should read ‘Story’ by Robert McKee and ‘Save the Cat’ by Blake Snyder. And always be creating. Find your tribe. Stage 32 is a great place to do that....

I am a big fan of creating your own content. It has never been easier or cheaper, and there are countless examples of major stars who got their break because they took their career into their own hands and made their own content.

Fun Interview with Jackman, Reynolds & Levy

I enjoyed this interview with the lead team from "Deadpool and Wolverine". Interesting that there is a sense these two may be tasked with saving the superhero genre from its recent doldrums. If anyone can, it could be these two actors. Thoughts? https://variety.com/2024/film/news/ryan-reynolds-hugh-...

What a great interview.

Sydney Summers

Loved this interview and the picture made me laugh!

Ashley Renee Smith

Ugh. I love the three of them so much. As a comic book fan, I'm so excited to see Deadpool and Wolverine, to finally see these characters truly interacting with one another! Wolverine Origins does not count.

Pat Alexander

I think they'll definitely breathe some new energy into the genre this year, but we reached critical mass a couple years ago. Less is more with superheroes these days but think this will be a fun one!

Brigitte Millar

Thank you, great interview

New Netflix Murder Mystery

I am hit or miss with Nicole Kidman, but when it comes to playing wealthy, WASP-y, with a dark secret, there is no one better. Count me in.

Tom Lapke

It is always important to remember that no one is rooting for you more than the CD. If you walk into the room and deliver exactly what they need, they can forget about the "problem" of casting that role and move on to others. You make their day better when you show up with the goods.

Ashley Renee Smith
