I'm new to acting and I don't have any experience, but I want to know different ways to get my career started. Also, how to build a resume as a beginner with no experience at all.
Seek out your friends that are actors and talk to them about it. Pursuing acting in Atlanta is different from doing it in LA or NY, you gotta learn how to go about it there. It's also a good idea to start surrounding yourself with people that are also starting out so you can help each other out, build connections, and have a strong support group around you. What we do isn't easy, we definitely need good people around to help us, and for us to help them.
While not "acting", you could look for a few jobs as "Extra" or "Background". Earn yourself a little cash, make some friends and cultivate correct behavior on set.
JD I submitt to roles like that all the time, I don't mind not talking and being in a scene as an extra. I haven't had anyone choose me to play one yet!

Hi there, well I don't think theres an easy way of doing it. Have you taken any drama classes at all? if not then that should be your first stop

Thank you Tony I'll search for places that I can go to for practice.

Agree with Tony. It's a full time commitment, so don't even think about looking for short cuts. Find a class. Cultivate relationships. Seek support.
Thank you Richard

There are no easy ways. If it were easy, everyone would be doing it!

Theater! There are community theater opportunities in many places. Some colleges even let non-students audition.
