Hello everybody! It's so nice to be here! My name is Peter, I am a polish-based screenwriter. I worked as a staff writer for numerous TV series in Poland, including ‘Ultraviolet’ created by ‘The Dexter’s’ creator Wendy West and ‘Stulecie Winnych’ - one of the biggest hits in Polish television of the last decades. Now I pursuit new challenges and want to try myself writing for western markets. I'd love to get to know fellow writers from around the globe and exchange experience. I'm open to any kind of collaboration, if you'd be interested in such.
Have a good day, everybody! Hope to talk to you soon.

Hey Peter, I'm new here too. Newbie to screenwriting. Always just did poetry and songwriting, however I've written a novel, TV show and now busy with a trilogy

Hey! That's already a lot, what you've done! What kind of trilogy are you writing now, if I may ask?

Welcome, Piotr Rzepka. My mom is part Polish, and I'm writing a short script with a writer/director that takes place in Warsaw.
Check out the Screenwriting lounge: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting You'll learn a lot about screenwriting there. You can comment on people's posts and make your own posts (questions, things you need feedback on, etc.).
Glad you're part of the community.

Maurice Vaughan - hi! Is this short you're working on supposed to be shot in Warsaw too? Is the director based in Poland? I'd like to hear more about it. Sounds cool :-)

Jon Shallit - I'd be happy to take a look at it, if you like. I can give you some feedback from Polish perspective.
The short film will be shot in Warsaw, Piotr Rzepka. The director mentioned he would film the script in Poland, but I'm not sure if he lives there. I can find out.

Maurice Vaughan - but is the director Polish? Who's idea it was to set the action in Warsaw? I'm just curious. It's doesn't happen often, you know...
I'm not sure if he's Polish, Piotr Rzepka. His last name is Singh. It was his idea to film the movie in Warsaw. I can send you his YouTube channel.

Maurice Vaughan - that would be nice, thank you. Singh is not a Polish name. Now I'm even more curious :-)
You're welcome, Piotr Rzepka. I'm about to send you the link.
