Hey everyone, I'm an independent screenwriter and director based in Los Angeles. I recently released a short film titled he110, which premiered at several film festivals in 2020. One of my biggest goals for 2021 is developing a feature screenplay and pitch with Matthew Ruf, whom wrote the short.
We have a lot of big ideas regarding the nature of human disconnection and society's retreat into the digital realm, and I'm glad I'm able to have the opportunity to connect with so many people in the industry on this platform who are passionate about what they do. I look forward to what this has to bring!

I'm interested in finding ways to tell cosmic horror or lovecraftian horror but outside of literary styles it is quite tricky.
If you represent it on screen it is not unknowable anymore and you take away it's power.
Hmm

Bart Poort You make a very fair point. Most gothic and cosmic horror in film falls flat because of that, but I think films like Mandy are exceptions.
