Twists are the points in the story that hook us in and keep our focus. They bring us back to the show episode after episode, season after season, desperate to know what will happen next.
But they can be hard to write. Especially well.

Well... twists can be unearned, though, so you might hear someone say "I hate TV shows with too many twists and not enough build-up to that twist". Thanks for the share!
