Here's the logline: Two lifelong friends, a Vietnam-combat-shattered Marine and an antiwar activist wanted by the FBI, join forces to flee to Canada. A vengeful FBI agent pursues and corners them in a small Vermont border village that ends in a life-or-death struggle. "Catch Me if You Can" meets "We Were Soldiers".
The Viet Vet has become disillusioned about the war and how it's conducted. His best boyhood friend is wanted by the FBI for his extensive antiwar activities. He decides to use his military skills to help his friend escape to Canada.
Congrats! Do you mind me asking (I'm new to this site) how/where is the Stage32 Lookbook? Apologies! Just wondering how you posted it for it to be visible. Thank you!
This is fantastic and well deserved Michael Elliott! This is the power of the lookbook in action! I am excited that they will be reading and the hope is you will have new fans over there. Congratulations!

Wrapping up a rewrite on a script titled "Family Men". It's a combination of Death Wish meets Straw Dogs.

Wished more movie people felt that way. The story is not about combat but the toxic effects the Vietnam War had on the country.
I like the title "Family Men," Michael Elliott. I've seen "Straw Dogs." Is your script set in the South also?
Curious why is this Vietnam vet running from the FBI? Is he AWOL or...?

"Straw Dogs" takes place in Cornwall, UK. "Family Men" takes place in the Washington, DC suburbs.

Thank you Rashika (and all other well wishers). I need all the help I can get.
I mixed up "Straw Dogs" (2011) with "Straw Dogs" (1971), Michael Elliott.

I never saw the 2011 version. But the 71 version is imprinted on my brain.
I actually didn't know that "Straw Dogs" (2011) was based on another movie, Michael Elliott. I thought it was an original when I watched it.
