Introduce Yourself : Hey Everybody! by Sai Marie (Sarah) Johnson

Sai Marie (Sarah) Johnson

Hey Everybody!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone has a great weekend. I am busy planning the finalization for my Father's Celebration of Life as he unexpectedly passed away and he had no life insurance. It has kept me pretty occupied, but I intend on working a bit on a screenplay and some dialogues for a mobile game project I'm on as my bereavement comes to an end next week. All these things have had me super busy but I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a great weekend and touch base by introducing myself to those whom have yet to cross my path yet.

My name is Sai Marie, and I'm a screenplay writer and author who enjoys metal music, camping and creating immersive and illustrious worlds. I love connecting with others and welcome you to take a look at my profile to learn more about me, or if you want you're welcome to visit Amazon and check out my works under my pen name, Sai Marie Johnson or head over to my profile here to read over my loglines and see a book trailer from one of my works!

Shellie Schmals

Hello there Sai Marie - it's so nice to meet you! Thank you for sharing your story with us. I'm so sorry for the loss of your father, and you are stepping up for your family in the most meaningful way and it's understandable that you have taken a step back from your writing. Very intrigued by your loglines - where did the inspiration for Duality come from?

Sai Marie (Sarah) Johnson

Shellie Schmals thank you for your condolences. I appreciate them. As for Duality, I actually came across some writings by Admiral Richard Byrd relevant to the North and South Pole expeditions and I went down a rabbit hole regarding Admiral Byrd's Captain's Log accounts on some unusual findings during those excursions. I had already been fascinated by other cross-referencing historical accounts pertinent to Hitler's obsession with the occult and from there I built up a world from the perspective of the main character, Imogen/Delaehla as the central being that sort of ties all of these astonishing researching projects together. :)

Hi Sai Marie…first, my sincere condolences for the sudden loss of your father. Your Celebration of Life sounds like a beautiful tribute, during what must be an extremely difficult time. Second, your Duality script sounds remarkable. I’d love to learn more about this story, and your other projects. My screenwriting also tends toward history, and how this resonates in the present. I look forward to heading over to your profile and reading your loglines! Thanks for reaching out here, and wishing you a peaceful weekend

Hello Sai, I love your quote! It instantly spoke to me! I just checked out your logline for The Tales of Valisa: The Rebellious Daughter, I love it! I want to read more! - Jackie

Sai Marie (Sarah) Johnson

Brian Edgar Thank you so much. Yes, I am working to make it an honorable event. My father was a wonderful and talented man and I aim to bring that to light with this. I do have several concepts I am very proud of and Duality is one that is close to my heart. History has always fascinated me and that is definitely due to my father and this particular storyline was one my father was pretty intrigued by as well.

Sai Marie (Sarah) Johnson

Jackie Kaur I am so glad you liked them both! If you want to acquaint yourself more with The Tales of Valisa you can do that by checking out the book on Amazon.

Maurice Vaughan Thank you for your condolences.

For sure Sai. Your imagination is intriguing. I just noticed that you've written many books, have any of these been turned into scripts or films? And thanks for sharing your second quote, it's left me pondering over the word 'possession'...

Maurice Vaughan Have a great week!

Sai Marie (Sarah) Johnson

Jackie Kaur I have not had any of my books adapted for any feature film or series but am certainly aiming myself for that endeavor and eventually I am confident one or two will make that achievement a reality for me.

Sai Marie (Sarah) Johnson

David P Perlmutter Thank you kindly for your warm wishes.

Jackie Kaur
