Just listened to a great interview with Richard Botto on Ashley Scott Meyers' "Selling Your Screenplay" blog and decided to make Stage 32 more of a priority in my attempts to sell MY screenplay. So, I've revised all my information here. So... let's connect!

I would love to do voiceovers but where to start!? Is it possible to get work with only my actual voice? What is the best way to persuade a business or director to take a chance on a newbie who is willing to volunteer for the experience? How/where can a person record and submit without owning the equipment? Yeah, I'm clueless at the moment and eager to learn because it would be fun...and I could add an actual skill to my resume! Thanks for your advice and any additional information you'd care to share :~D

I am a director looking for feature length scripts that are low budget to direct. That could be based in the southern parts of the USA.

How many voice actors have looked int/ considered doing audio books? On the business end of Audibles they have a program where if the author is willing to give 50% to the reader, then audibles gives them 90% of sales. I work with a bunch of authors and we were playing with the idea of casting audiobooks and having multiple readers. Would anyone be interested in doing such a project on % of sales?

You can see the latest posts in your subscribed topics by clicking the My Lounge subscriptions tab on your wall. Hey Jeff, a few days ago we implemented a new privacy setting to give you the option of accepting private messages only from users within your network. Today, I discovered a bug with the way this option is set for new users. I just wanted to let you know that the bug is now fixed, so all members are now able to receive private messages from any other member (the default setting). If you'd like to receive private messages only from users within your network, you can change this setting here. Also, you can access your privacy settings at any time from the drop-down menu that appears when you hover over your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
