About Matt

Completing our very first full-length narrative feature film, "Alarmed." Now in the final stages of post, picture is locked! Yeah! Shot on a RED Epic and RED Scarlet, wonderful cast and crew. I wrote and directed (directorial debut). I have a couple small clips on YouTube if you want to check it out (just search my name). Former tooling engineer for a large company HQ'd in Singapore, which put me pretty much all over the globe.

Moved up to the Bay Area from San Diego where I worked for a British firm in Tijuana, Mexico (also putting me all over the world). Prior to that? Air Force Special Operations where I was an airborne gunner aboard an AC-130 gunship. Yep, also putting me pretty much all over the world. Probably goes without saying, but I enjoy traveling. And going from engineer to filmmaker seems to be a big stretch, but one of my huge passions in life is writing, and I married a wonderful woman who just happens to be a very accomplished writer - having just now published her ninth book!

We both hope to establish this little production company to make films and write screenplays until we're too old to type...

Unique traits: My wife and I live on a boat here in the SF Bay Area - that's kind of unique I suppose... Also a private pilot, have had a motorcycle every day of my life since I turned 16 (I'm an old guy of 55 now, so that tells you something) and let's see... I was a plastics (tooling) engineer for most of my professional career until about five years ago when we decided to start up a small production company with the intent of making movies into our "golden years."
