Hi, it's never too late to live your dreams is what I tell my mentoring clients. It's true. If a woman can start her life work at age 82 then I can at my age. I grew up acting in church and school plays, singing and I have always been interested in directing. So, here I am pursuing an old passion at a new start in my life. While I have written a solid screenplay for my short film, (with wonderful editing help from a cinematographer), writing screenplays is a lot different for me than writing a book. I'd rather direct. I like to bring creativity to life and help others bring out their creativity. I like to encourage and motivate. I like to see what is written come to life. All Scriptwriters, whether professionals or beginners, are invited to come to the FLORIDA FILM NETWORK Screenwriters group led by Ellen Schnur, President of Show Me The Money Productions and co-writer with Miriam Goodspeed of the short film, Murder! It’s For The Birds! and their sitcom pilot “Almost Legit.” The workshop meets the second Wednesday of every month at Red Gears Studios, 11788 66th St. N, Suite B, Largo from 7:30-9:45pm. Bring up to 10 pages of your script to have it read aloud. It’s a great way to hear how it flows when read aloud rather than just reading it on your computer .Actors are welcome to come and do cold readings. We also have a 2nd Screenwriters Group that meets the 4th Saturday of every month at the Safety Harbor Library in Safety Harbor. This is a combined group.
