About Borjan

Born in Belgrade, Serbia in a family of filmmakers, he graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade with a MA degree in Film and TV production.

Boryan's career started as production assistant on TV commercials in Boston. Shortly after he moved to Los Angeles and made the transition to feature film, working on production of major studio films such as Rollerball, Basic and Bad Boys 2. After a year in Los Angeles, work brought him to New York and as an AD and producer has worked on many successful independent films, such as Sangre de mi Sangre, grand jury prize winner at Sundance in 2007 and Here and There, winner of best NY narrative at Tribeca Film Festival.

In 2008 he joined the Directors Guild of America (DGA). In that same year he received an achievement award from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade where he is also a guest lecturer. Over the course of his career Boryan has collaborated with esteemed film, TV and commercial directors such as John McTiernan, Malcolm Venville , Bertrand Tavarnier, and actors such as Keanu Reeves, Alan Arkin, Liam Neeson, and many others specializing in providing production services for international projects such as Welcome Home, Brigada 2 (Russia), Mamarosh (Serbia/Germany) and The French Minister (France).

Borjan continues his work in LA, NYC and worldwide, helping directors achieve their vision on time and within the budget.
