I’m in the process of producing one of my short films (2nd attempt), and I have a character question. When I advertise for a casting call, I wish to post a description of my characters and the actor types I’m looking for is there a template for that? Can someone be so kind to supply me a link or a template on how I go about doing this? Something basic and to the point is what I’m searching for.

I have not posted in a while, but I have some excitement going on in my life and I just wanted to talk about it. I'm currently producing one of my short films right here in Panama City Beach, FL. I met a producer/writer here on Stage32, and he's helping me with everything. I have a Movie Trailer teaser being created, and as soon as it becomes available, I'm launching my Indiegogo campaign. Anywho, check out my movie poster my cousin LeTesha created for me. Her first ever movie poster and she nailed it. The girl is a perfectionist. Visit my film website for updates about my film. www.hiddensecretsmovie.com

Happy New Year, 2015!! I’ve completed one goal so far, and that was to register my latest screenplay “All Circuits Busy” with Inktip, it went live about an hour ago. Also on my list for 2015: Produce my short film, “Love Appeal” by the end of March. Enter my latest script into a few screenplay competitions. I skipped the competition circuit last year. Start a new script. I’ve been writing from within, but it’s time to put it on paper. I hope to knock out the outline by the end of February. Other goals not pertaining to Screenwriting, but it still makes for a happier writer, and that is… Have more confidence in myself, and find me an amazing King to share my happiness with.
I wasn't sure how to word the title. I have several dozen skits; some written on paper, some inside my head and new ones popping up daily (LOL). I wasn't sure how to word the title. I have several dozen skits; some written on paper, some inside my head and new ones popping up daily (LOL). Around the first of the upcoming year, I wish to launch a Youtube channel showcasing these skits in a cartoon format. The average skit will be less than sixty (60) seconds. I soon will be searching for an animator/cartoonist, and the only pay will be the monetizing of the Youtube Channel, and talent exposure. I know the animation will be a more strenuous process than my writing, and I'm not writing for money, but if we can monetize, why not.... My question, am I cheating myself, or giving myself too much credit for the earnings is as follows: Myself 25-30% & Animator 70-75%? We'll both have full access to the channel (passwords) and full disclosure of the channels earnings. Thanks in advance for any feedback?

Someone recently referred me to this website and I'm so excited. I'm a screenwriter and she said this would be a great place to gather with creative types. I have been writing for quite some time with small successes. I stopped writing for awhile when my full-time job became a bit overwhelming. I quit last year and got back to my passions! I just finished a new faith-based rom-com film about a year ago and just finished a rewrite and going to get it out there soon. It feels so good to be back at it and I'm looking forward to building great relationships and working together.

If all goes well, I’m thinking of raising money, and having it produced, and possibly entered into a few competitions. Right now, I just need it analyzed and critiqued. Nothing in life is free, so I’m willing to pay a professional, or at least someone with experience. I should finish my proofing no later than Friday. FYI, I am on a broke man’s budget!!! Basic Logline: A young couple sees their daughter off to college, and begins to live again.

i.e. character name, age, ethnicity if it matters, brief description of their type, and then how big the role is at the end
Thank you, Dave. That's what i was looking for, short and to the point.
