Here is the logline for our just-completed screenplay, Jasmine Absolute. Would you request this script? We'd welcome your feedback, please. A young African-American ad exec’s life spins out of control, and she must overcome her resulting meth addiction--and its tragic consequences--if she is to open a community center honoring her slain brother.

You know what would make an awesome twist to your story - if the woman's meth dealer turned out to be the one that murdered her brother (or caused the murder in some way) and when she finds that our, it could tip her over the edge to come clean finally. :-) I love your story, just from the logline and the explanations you've given. Just discovered this site today, and it looks like I've found "my people." It seems to be a great, supportive community here. I live in the Atlanta area. I recently self-published a novel, and my co-author and I are currently shopping the screenplay adaptation. I am also looking for employment in the film/TV industry in the Atlanta area, either as a writer or in some administrative capacity. Heck, I'll do anything in the industry, to be honest. Just looking to get my foot in the door somewhere and be paid for what I love.
