David W. Keffer is a screenwriter and producer with more than 15 years of experience. Most recently known for In The Blood (announced) and Sweet Dreams (2019 - international distribution), David has worked on dozens of film projects as well as several scripts. He mostly works in thrillers, but has also had success with light-hearted comedies and variety-shows
David was born and raised in rural Ohio amidst rolling fields of corn. He found his love for theatre at an early age and began writing horror stories in middle school and high school -- later graduating from Kent State University after double majoring in Creative Writing and Electronic Media Production. David suffered long bouts of insomnia (in part due to sleep paralysis) and would utilize that time by writing fiction and screenplays, eventually selling Ghost Game to Autumn Entertainment in 2004. David recently published his collection of short horror stories - Encounters: Twenty Years of Horror on Amazon.
David found a niche in the lighting industry, working with Kino Flo troubleshooting with gaffers and DP’s. This helped booster on-set knowledge and production and post-production workflows, especially with greenscreens and virtual production work.
Unique traits: Beard game is strong. Strong build, muscular (but not superhero ripped). I do a great impression of a VeggieTale cucumber.
