Layon Gray

Layon Gray Experience, LLC was conceived and founded by Layon Gray. Layon has spent more than 20 years writing, directing and developing stage plays and films that reflect a wide array of cultural movements, creating new paradigms for the stage and motion picture business and most importantly, entertaining thousands of theatergoers.
Since he founded TLGE, Layon has guided the company's growth from a privately held theatre company to one of the entertainment industry's leading independent companies and a veritable box office force. Focusing on creating conversational dialogue in his works, Layon continues to make his mark in traditional African-American theatre. Born and raised in Louisiana, he quickly rose as one of Los Angeles premiere playwrights winning several awards 2000-2009. He is now on the east coast creating a lot buzz with his latest works.
