Welcome to my network. I am an author with three novels traditionally published. #4 is now at my publisher. I am working on #5. My biggest problem is getting help in areas where my knowledge is thin, so I stick to writing narrative about that with which I am familiar. I have extensive knowledge about forensics and the military, so I weave those subjects into the plot as often as I can. I am very familiar with the city of Houston, and Texas in general, so I confine my plots to those regions. Through research, I've gathered knowledge on Houston PD. One can't go wrong by tossing in a police incident or two. I am struggling to adapt my first novel, Across the Tigris, into either a movie or a TV series. Lots of work. I am teaching English at the Lone Star College here and that has really dug into my writing time. Anything I can help with, let me know. Us mentally disturbed writers get lonely out her laboring in the vineyard of solitude.
