I always look for talented people for collaboration.
Geoff Hall Thanks. Good here. Life in California is wonderful. How are you?
Alexandra Shields THE TWINK MURDERS is about the damage of dogma becoming more important than family and love, and how one father has to correct that mistake when he learns the teen son he threw out for being gay might have been killed on the streets.

I’m waiting for news, next week, to see if the Producer has been successful at Cannes in raising the finance for my first feature, “Seeing Rachel”.
There's a lot of hate, oppression, and killing in America driven by rabid politics. Haters shooting even BEER CANS for being gay proves the imperative to reverse this cultural shift. Stories help do this and always have. THE TWINK MURDERS is such a story. The screenplay for an indie feature film is entertaining and socially-conscious. It's a story for a time such as this.
This indie feature film project is an entertaining thriller and has a voice that's imperative in today's society. The screenplay is fully developed and ready for a team to make it into reality.

THE TWINK MURDERS
Somebody is killing the boys of the streets of Hollywood.
An upcoming indie feature film.
THE TWINK MURDERS will be a unique and powerful movie, a smart, quirky feature film for sophisticated audiences, young and old. In this era of resurgent homophobia, this entertaining movie could be more fascinating than ever before.
A father rejects his gay son, then learns the boy is on the streets of Hollywood among the other boys, many considered "twinks," at the mercy of men who abuse and exploit them. He may have been a victim of a serial killer killing the boys of the streets.
He must find his son, entering the abyss of street life in Hollywood, not even knowing if the boy is dead or alive.
This ain’t Tinseltown.

It is 100% free. We don't ask for credit card information or any other shenanigans. US$400 in Amazon gift certificates to be won.
You are given 3 prompts and four days to write up-to 8 pages. It starts @ midnight on March 4th.
What is unique about this competition is that in order to be eligible to win, every participant must read, give feedback, and arbitrate three "battles" between two scripts. That means that all participants are also judges! It is a screenwriting competition for screenwriters, by screenwriters.
We are in the middle of the February Battle and it is going really well. People seem to enjoy it. I am trying to triple the number of participants for March.
Goto: https://www.screenwritingbattle.com create an account, then click Join Next Battle to register. Please ask any questions -- here, or email me at admin@screenwritingbattle.com
Cheers :)

Nick Assunto - Stage 32 Script Services Coordinator -- Hi Nick! I was participating in my first NYC Midnight Screenplay competition in November. I had a lot of fun, but I found the best part was the forums and getting peer-reviewed by other writers. So I thought -- I wonder if I could gamify the short screenwriting competition and incentivize writers to give each other feedback. This is what I came up with :)

I'm not sure what happened. I'll investigate though and iron out those bugs... Thanks for your patience. If you still can't log in, please email me at admin@screenwritingbattle.com

I like the poster, Michael R. Barnard! It reminds me of 80s Horror and Teen movies. Hope the executive producers find a great director!
