Me and my creative partner is is seriously looking into taking an acting class/improve class. I hearing that it improves your character development.
It certainly helps. Especially when you're doing a comedy.

It's an AWESOME idea! I took an "Acting for Non-Actors" class as part of my university education (I was a Writing & Directing Major) and it was immensely helpful.

I haven't, but I've heard a number of professionals recommending it for screenwriters, as it helps with the craft.
