Anytime I work doing freelance gigs I'm always asked "can i get your card" and I always have to lie and say "oh i forgot them today... but let me write down my info". So my question is where do you get business cards, online or locally? I've started designing something but i'm wondering where you typically have them made. Also are business cards still viable self promotion? Thanks S32 members!

Personally, I go to the movies to see a good story or to see something epic that will take my mind off of work, kids, or other things for a couple of hours. For the most part I really don't care who is in the flic as long as it was entertaining. Also, I find that many of the, so called, "A-list" stars really are not that great of actors. People don't go to see Tom Cruise act or to be a different character, because for the most part, the only character he has is... Tom Cruise. Sad Tom, intense Tom, climbing up a building Tom... all the same character. (That's arguable, of course.) I think that some of the best told stories in film can be found in the low budget indie. No stars, no huge special effects, (usually) no huge score, just pure story. I think that the future of film is in the indie.
