About Alice

I have enjoyed writing for pleasure for many years as I juggled a career as a Registered Nurse, Wife, Mother, Traveler. Over the years I have written a couple articles for a Nursing publication, written a handful of short stories and in 2016 published a Novel titled Finding Alma : An Italian Journey. (still available on Amazon) During the past year I began thinking about adapting my book into a Screenplay. I always felt that it was a story that should be told on the screen as well. I initially thought about hiring a screenwriter to write the adaptation but with encouragement from people in the business I considered that I might write it myself. Since it was my story and although it is a daunting undertaking, I felt that I could tell the story that was in my heart. I began to connect and network with writers, actors, authors and enrolled in a screenwriting course taught by Diane Bell. She is an accomplished screenwriter and director who I found to be knowledgeable and inspiring. I found much support in her circle of students and I feel that Stage 32 can also be a source of support and opportunity for me. I look forward to meet and learn from the large pool of writers, producers, professionals and artists in this community. This feels like the logical next step for me in my journey.
