Gary White has been a storyteller since he was a child.
From documentaries on ghosts, to holiday romances and even a full-length musical on the state of the news industry, Gary has honed his craft and has brought his creativity to life on film, TV, stage, and podcasts for nearly three decades.
For over 25 years he worked in the news industry, first in Philadelphia and then in Kentucky. Winning awards for his first documentary film, College Hauntings, he went on to produce the paranormal documentary “The Ghosts of Fort Mifflin” and is currently working on a feature length documentary film on the 200-year-old Wickland estate in Bardstown, Kentucky, and how the three governors who lived their impacted national politics, for good and bad, during the first 150 years of our country.
While the owner and operator of Central Kentucky Television, Gary created and produced a sit-com “Life in Podunk”, the game show “Relatively Speaking” and thousands of hours of programming of local interest to the residents of Kentucky.
In 2016, Gary staged a reading of his original musical, “News: The Musical.” Receiving positive reviews, he looks forward to bringing the musical to life as a fully staged musical comedy in the near future. You can learn more about the show at
Having sold Central Kentucky Television, Gary is focusing his attention on his script writing. In 2022, he has his first feature film script being produced, “From Paradise with Love” by Triventure Films. He is also working with a producer on his original holiday romance script, “Mistletoe and Bourbon.”
With his production company, Polite Productions, Gary has produced the “It’s Today Podcast” – giving people something to celebrate each day – and the “How We Met Podcast” – where couples tell their meet cute stories – for several years.
