"Lying here with you" is a brand new song about my sweet wife Phyllis, who patiently lets me get away with releasing my silly/sarcastic tunes, sometimes at her expense.

I leave my guitar out, which forces me to play at every time I pass it, between TV commercials. Such a shame to keep a guitar in its case, unheard "silent as a note erased". The imagery of Dracula locked away until night hit me as the perfect analogy. Nobody ever realized that Dracula was a guitarist. Ultimately, its about not letting yourself get locked away. "The happy of us beat and battered, for those oft played are all that mattered." Made the video myself using Rotorvideo app.

I met an old sailor on the beach in Destin, Florida, who told me a little about his time in the service. It got me thinking about how much we owe to all of our brave military, so many of whom paid the ultimate price. On this Pearl Harbor remembrance day, here's my humble tribute.
