I am available for work as a director, producer, and screenwriter. This showreel reflects my work in short film, documentary style, entrepreneurial videos, live events, and an original unscripted reality tv pilot. My niche focuses on representing women and the underrepresented LGBTQ+ community, with diversity, equity, and equality. * Trigger warning - there is a short scene of ingesting pills for death by suicide from my award-winning film "Baby in the Basement" written by my screenwriting mentor and teacher, David-Matthew Barnes. The foundation of each project is to convey the story built on healing, empowerment, and moving content to shift viewer perspectives. I love telling the hard stories that need discussions like suicide and teen homelessness from my own personal life experiences. Mental health is more important than ever to discuss with open dialogue removing stigma, encouraging safe spaces for healing, building up community, and collaborations to create a better world through the art of filmmaking. Vincenzo De Jonghe (44) is a multilingual character actor and presenter who lives in Belgium. He will soon appear in the drama series 'Pandore' (RTBF). He recently acted in the Dutch film 'Line of Fire’ and the drama series 'Haus aus Glas' (ARD and ARTE) and 'Sophie Cross' (France 3). A while ago, he played Johnny Pleetinckx in the drama series 'Fiskepark' (Canvas) which was nominated for the 'Ensors' and the 'Prix Europa'. Before that, he portrayed Bert Beeckman in the drama series 'De Ridder' on VRT 1 and Netflix for 4 years. He also had guest roles in 'Age of Iron' (ARTE), ‘Salamander’ (BBC Four) and 'The Missing’ (BBC One). Besides acting, language is one of his greatest passions. So he has performed roles in British-English, American-English, French and German. He also enjoys playing with accents.
