I'm Gage, and I created an account forever ago, but only now have gotten back into the swing of writing and finding other creators with the same passions as I do. I love to create stories even though I have been an intensely lazy writer (working on it!), and I have written a few short films and currently writing a series pilot I am very proud of.
I figured it was time to network and meet others instead of being held up alone in a room staring at my screen and talking to myself. I always find myself more motivated after discussing with others the joy of storytelling, ideas, thoughts, and our own personal favorite movies and series.
I currently have a video production business here in AZ where I film people's life stories, then give them to their families, post them to Ancestry/family tree, and pass it down to their future generations. It's incredibly rewarding and a blast to do.

Have you thought of joining the Writers' Room? It's a great community of screenwriters who connect, give feedback on each others' work, opportunities to submit your scripts to production companies, and pitch to executives. Also there are a ton of great classes that can help you with your writing. What kind of stuff do you write?

Emily J Thanks. Yes, it is! Very fun, and I get to hear first hand all the experiences I will never see myself (pre-internet, WWII, all the fascinating decades of the 1990's).
Sounds like I'll have to join. I write drama, comedy, sci-fi, and currently a dark comedy I really am loving. Anything and everything honestly.
