I’m being honest when I say I’ve taken my eye off the ball recently. I’ve been focussing on working and performing as much as possible and pretty much put my writing on the back burner.
A few weeks ago I dusted off my pitch for a a TV show, rewrote a few bits, took a deep breath and submitted it to one of the execs available on pitch sessions. I got the last written pitch slot and submitted.
Last night I got an email and all I could see were the words “CONGRATULATIONS”. The feedback report was all 5’s and a request to meet with the exec to take things forward.
Contact has been initiated and now I wait.
I’m blown away and tonight I will celebrate with a few cold beers.
